Never been a better time for startups. The Schumpeterian Cycle of Innovation has played out to show in the last 15 years 52% of all fortune 500 companies are gone. The life expectancy of these organizations went from 55 years to 15. Standard model companies can not inovate at a rate the meets consumer expectation of "speed satisfaction". The big three auto makers change a car model once a year. Tesla changes their models once a week-ish on the manufacturing or programming side. Apple, Amazon, (more) can change parts of a product hundreds or thousands of times a year. A more agile the company is no longer a hipster trend but a necessity of survival. As a crusty old curmudgeon I say its your time millennials to get it done. My generation is not clueless but appears slow to react.
